Dudeman: Pro and Con Editorials

Dudeman was not without controversy. Episodes 6, 7 and 8 were about the fictitious kidnapping of the school president (Virginia Radley), who no one liked anyway. She never took interest in the campus' social events. S.U.N.Y Oswego was nothing more than a money making tool for her. My intent was to show that if she disappeard, no one would notice. At the same time episode 8 was printed this article appeared in the editorial section of the paper, obviously written just after episode 7. It was just coincedence that episode 8 ended the subject run we were doing. By the way: that year (1984) was Virgina Radley's last as president of S.U.N.Y. Oswego. She was unanimously voted out.

This person obviously was a pre-feminazi man hater. After that article my friend Susan came to my rescue with the editorial reply below. It didn't get printed till a month later because my editor (Andy) was being a jerk. He also couldn't do his job to save his life. The title he placed on the article has nothing to do with the content. He's probably working for the Marin I.J. now.
